This actually isn't that out of proportion; it is all about perspective. There's some extreme forshortening and recession due to distance from the point of perspective. Because the left calf is angled towards us it appears shorter, however the right calf is only about 1/5 shorter then the left right thigh. Overall I'm pretty sure its just a weird angle.

That is not her leg, it's a slide for the kids xD
