Left 4koma, reference to the old Russian saying "Counting Trees in Siberia". Essentially, it meant someone being sent into exile, since in Tsarist times there was so little to do there that reportedly the exiled would count trees.
Despite the Bolsheviks changing that via their infamous prison-labor camps, the saying stuck and it became a euphemism for being sent to the Gulag.
