I'm kinda glad I've not been able to clear Easy mode most of the times.

I wonder if pictures like this one is one of the reasons why (please forgive me for using this term, I couldn't think of a better term) "secondaries" refuse to even try to play the games.

Most danmaku patterns in Touhou only look scary in screenshots or pictures. When you actually face them you'll realize that they're not as hard as screenshots/pictures/videos make them to be.

Doesn't help that pros like to show off replays of the hardest stages, either.

Although I've seen the opposite effect as well, where patterns that don't look that hard at first end up to be really difficult. Case in point, Shou's curved lasers.

Picture seems about accurate to my experiences.
