Wow, busier day than I thought. Finally getting to take care of this...

My treatment of Sanae-san's gotten a little pathetic recently. I have to let things go well for her now and then. Kogasa-san gets a set meal too! Feels like I'm going to end up delivering a punch line, though. :-) But yeah, there's just so much yummy stuff at Shizuoka Station, it's a real danger! And so much of it really was delicious!

I really wish Zun would hurry up and make a Summon Season rep, since that's not what Yuuka is supposed to be (she's the Flower Master of the FOUR Seasons). I'm getting kinda tired of her being just thrown in there for Summer because nobody else fits...

She's the flower master OF the four seasons. As in, among the four seasons, she is the flower master. It's not too far a stretch to say she is one of the four seasons.

Different ways of interpreting the same phrase. However, flowers exist in all four seasons. Not only that, Spring is the one typically associated with them, not Summer. Furthermore, she has no clear ties.

Akis are goddesses of fall and harvest.
Letty is pretty much a winter spirit, IIRC.

Yuuka has no direct ties to summer, however. While the others are seasonally tied, Yuuka isn't - the only codifier for her is the "Flower Master" part, and as I said earlier, every season has its flowers.

Actually, from what I've been able to find, the Summer connection with Yuuka is her connection with the Sunflower (due to her stage in PoFV), the symbol of Summer in floral speaking.
Around where I live, sunflowers grow in the Spring, but florish in full beauty during the Summer.
There could also be some aspect of the 'summer' opinion drawing from the fanon USC aspects of Yuuka, as Summer is the season of Death (when Kings/Lords went to war), Pain, and Suffering.

...Not that it makes much sense as an reason, but it's the start of an attempt at an explaination of the madness.
(Honestly though, I don't mind either way)
