I mean, in technicality aren't Reconvener's just the Operators with new names? I understand that they are "copies", but they have the exact memories and experiences that the Operators had.

Specifically *not* the "exact same." Especially with Laevatain whose memories are fragmented and dreamlike.

They're technically clones, but allowed to create their own personalities, which means they pick their own names.

Yeah that's what I meant. They know that they are clones, they realize they are their own unique person.

That's just Surtr though? Surtr doesn't remember anything, doesn't even know what memories are hers and what's not. It's the same with Laeva. And I should have clarified that they are clones that are aware of what they are.

You just know sooner or later they're gonna pull something like "this 'clone' isn't really a clone, that's just a cover story to avoid suspicion. They never died and are really the same character"
