as a rule of thumb, sketches and greyscale images have a harder time passing the queue. Even if it's of good quality, only a few approvers may like it, and they aren't online 24/7.
- Lower res than parent
- Was demoted to child by Unbreakable
- Higher file size
- Rejected
- Same artist as above
- Lower res than child
- Was promoted to parent by Unbreakable
- Higher file size
- Approved
You guys don't like to hear it but elitism is still alive and well on Danbooru.

Please read the flagging guidelines, before flagging. And don't flag out of spite.
I wasn't flagging out of spite. If one isn't worth uploading, neither is. If one is worth approving, both are. Using precedent is common practice for flagging/approvals. This is the upload feedback thread. I am both giving and asking for feedback on an upload.
This is off topic, but to put that accusation to rest, my reason given: "Lower res duplicate of 4294451"
From flagging guidelines: "a superior, high quality version has [already] been uploaded"
I had let the matter go but upon seeing the upload which was so similar to my own (I often browse Idolmaster images) I figured I'd bring it up again.

First: You gave feedback about an upload no one asked about. You can ask for feedback of your uploads or that of others, but don't just give out feedback as it's either not needed or a hidden way of attacking someone.

Quote it correctly.
Flagging guidelines:
The post is an inferior image sample while a superior, high quality version has been uploaded.
An image sample is something different.
Then, you didn't just asked for feedback, you accused the uploader and approver of elitism. You have to expect an answer to that. As your upload got approved by another approver, the topic is done. Next time, just ask what's wrong instead of accusing anyone of anything as it won't get your uploads approved.

I uploaded these a couple weeks ago, they were rejected, I appealed, and they were rejected again.
I asked for feedback in this thread but nobody responded. Is there anything wrong with these drawings or is shota stuff just less likely to be touched by approvers?

I think you’re correct, most of the approvers probably aren’t into shota art.
It hasn't been deleted yet but I can't figure out how to upload the second picture (complete version) from the tweet even after checking the howto:twitter wiki. Is it not possible through the URL ?
Sorry for the off-topic question.

Have you tried using the batch bookmarklet? It lets you choose which image to upload from a multi-image tweet.

Ok, that worked. Thanks.
I'd like to know what's wrong with the post I made? post #4344222
I want to know so I don't repeat a mistake again

- the watercoloring is rough, it looks like it took five minutes to paint
- poor anatomy. torso is unrealistically thin.
- bad proportions; incredibly small neck, incredibly large ears
- instead of hair, seems like large earrings

Alright, Thanks for telling me
I'll definitely make sure to look for better quality drawings to post on here

the proportions aren't so great; how is her hand almost as big as that massive chest?

These images don't meet the general danbooru quality standards, not even on a comedic level.
They're poorly drawn, the background is just bad and not even in consideration of as a short comic, they could meet the quality standard.
