Deleted a day early, despite being tagged as a revision, paraphrasing it's wiki page; an edit can be as subtle as adding/removing a mole.

Also in my opinion "same trash as last time" seems like an unprofessional reason.

I'll admit the original post isn't as high quality as it could be, that's why I uploaded the revision with color corrections.

For all I care the original could be permanently deleted.

The fact that's a revision doesn't change the fact that it doesn't meet danbooru standards. Being a revision doesn't automatically mean it's better or worse.

Western artstyles have a harder time being approved on Danbooru, because Danbooru is an anime imageboard that mostly focuses on japanese artstyles, which also allows high-quality western images. And a lot of times western images aren't really good.

There is nothing wrong about western artstyle. Like Guaro said this site is main focus is on japanese artstyle. There are plenty other sites that focus on that like DA.

This is not a case of "impossible spine". Hell, I could do that pose if I wanted, and I'm not exactly flexible.

Getting a hard pass from me for the western art style and the unappealing “broken spine” pose. Btw, the lumbar spine can be pretty flexible with training, but the thoracic spine isn’t that flexible because of the attached ribcage (check out some images of contortionists and you’ll see what I mean). In your post, Samus’s back is bent right below the shoulder blade. I doubt you could do that because that’s pretty much a 90° bend in her thorax. Ouch. :(

I'm also now limited to 5 uploads at a time. At what point does the system just ban you if you keep getting disapprovals (i.e. not for spamming, but for getting screwed by the moderators)?

The upload slot system is there to limit spamming and you’re never banned automatically. You’re only banned manually if the mods catch you spamming or decide that you’re only uploading trash or trolling. If your uploads simply don’t appeal to the approvers, all that happens is that your upload slots get reduced until they hit the bottom limit of 5.

Did you really think that the slight color difference that’s almost impossible to see with the naked eye, the missing bit of shadow and that one pixel below her arm were the reasons why the original wasn’t approved? Is Guaro said, it didn’t meet the site’s quality standards and the revision didn’t change any of that. Rejection/deletion reasons on Danbooru can be kinda unprofessional if the issues are clearly obvious to anyone besides the uploader. Danbooru is not a professional art review site after all.

I don't really mind my slot getting decreased, and i know, stuff like this is better with appeal, not with this forum. but right now, I really want to upload Yomawari's 21 page comic, that hasn't been uploaded yet lol.

Don’t ask for feedback on posts that aren’t deleted yet. Sometimes approvers don’t vote on a post until it’s about to expire because they’re unsure about the quality.

This artist is somewhat mediocre in some areas, like hands. The way they draw big balloon tits is making it worse.

anatomically-wise looks okay, but the breasts and legs are pretty off-putting with their extreme size and focus. follows the sadly not uncommon style of huge breasts fanservice to compensate for a lack of refined shading or detailed background.

I just don't understand why this picture was deleted.

• The art quality is of a high standard and easily on par with quality with the others artist works on this site.
• It fits right in with the Anime/Manga aesthetic that this site prefers. (It was drawn by a Japanese artist to boot)
• It fits in with all the other works that this artist a has had approved on this site, all of which have very similar style and quality. (I've seen worse quality images get approved for reasons I don't understand.)
• The character is an official character in her respective franchise.
• Everything looks fine Anatomically wise, everything is properly proportioned and placed.

This image should easily meet the standards of Danbooru.

Was it overlooked by the moderators by mistake or was there a reason that i'm just not seeing.

The face: eye, nose and mouth are placed strangely and the eye is looking way too much sideways, almost like a chameleon.

Other issues: butt (angle/perspective), feet (also, why is she barefoot in what could be a school setting?), feet aren’t on the stairs properly, hand looks like it should be grabbing the handrail but doesn’t. The only background in this image are the flatly colored stairs, but they’re way too huge, way to steep and not even aligned properly.

Everything about this image is bad and I can’t find anything good about it. If you can’t see any of the issues, I can’t help you. Considering the amazing score of -14, I’m obviously not the only one thinking that, though.

post #4482933 looks too western, the pose looks kinda weird and the generic Patreon art style doesn't help.
