This, to me, seems the most visually neutral format for the tags, in light of varying compounds and hyphenations. This double-spaced format is, at least, seen during the anime's commercial bumps, to justifying using it at all.
The following have zero hits: alias drive_knight_(onepunch_man) -> drive_knight_(one-punch_man) alias blast_(onepunch_man) -> blast_(one-punch_man) alias pig_god_(onepunch_man) -> pig_god_(one-punch_man) alias tatsumaki_(onepunch_man) -> tatsumaki_(one-punch_man) alias mosquito_girl_(onepunch_man) -> mosquito_girl_(one-punch_man) alias sonic_(onepunch_man) -> sonic_(one-punch_man)
From what I understand, the manga and English adaptations of both have alternate names for some, including matters of spacing/hyphenation/what-have-you. So, in my ignorance, I've only put these without qualifiers to their standing tags (assuming the *_(one-punch_man) alias are approved).
And what's the point of changing more readily distinguishable names like Atomic Samurai (アトミック侍, his 'superhero' identity name) that doesn't even need a qualifier... to something less distinguishable like "Kamikaze" and then adding a qualifier on top? Most of the suggested BURs just seem ill-advised.
Also... Demon_cyborg? How many people search for Genos under that name anyway? In fact ironically Demon_cyborg is the one that would more likely require a qualifier than genos because it's generic enough to potentially conflict with other demon_cyborgs in other franchises. And having the alias also clogs up autocomplete for demon_, which is already more than saturated. Here his superhero alias is far worse than his usual name.
I suppose oni_cyborg might be less ambiguous, but that's even far less likely to be searched.
As for Metal Knight... his superhero alias is potentially ambiguous, so changing the primary to his name would be appropriate. Though think people are more likely to search him under Dr. Bofoi or just bofoi instead of bofoi hakase. Also most of the other _hakase also have their titles translated into Dr., like Dr. Light.
Though I'd agree that Tatsumaki prolly needs the qualifier. But overall, -1, strongly against.
You mean the wikia that disagrees with some of your proposed changes? The same wikia that also prefers, in order, Bofoi, Dr. Bofoi, and Metal Knight over "Bofoi Hakase"? (and also Superalloy Darkshine over Chougoukin Kurobikari, incidentally, though that one's a lost cause because of Viz translation conflicts)
Because all those names are more likely to be used by English speakers?
Anyhow, still doesn't change that qualifiers are completely unnecessary for Puri Puri Prisoner. And that practically nobody would type "demon_" when they can just type "genos" instead, and that the character Genos is far better known by the fanbase under his "Genos" name because that's what Saitama calls him all the time. And that demon_ also clogs up the autocomplete list for no good reason, for an alias that practically nobody would type anyhow. It's like suggesting caped_crusader/dark_knight -> batman just because the character also has that name as an in-universe alias.
(Also, ironically, despite the preference for using transliterated names for most of the other tags instead of more intuitive-to-an-English-speaker translated ones, "Demon" itself is also a translation. The original word in Japanese is "Oni".)
The Fandom wikis have been and are quite frequently wrong. I never refer to them myself, instead using official sources (usually JP) or Pixivpedia (JP).
This is why I hate it when people make requests for multiple things at the same time ("let's qualify these random characters" and "let's totally rename these other characters" and "let's add utility aliases for these other characters"). It's really hard to figure out what to do when we're arguing over multiple issues at the same time.
