Do we have any tag for that weird coloring style where the characters have a blush on their knees (and shoulders, breasts etc.), and there is a bright white spot in the middle of the reddish area, so it ends up looking like a huge zit or mosquito bite?

Use specular highlight, perhaps.
post #151860 once upon a time was tagged rosy_cheeks, now it is tagged blush and it is marked as your edit so I'm blaming you. There were more posts I'm sure but hell if I remember any of them.
Just use body blush to indicate blushing not from the cheeks instead of tagging each specific body parts which would be really pointless.

Back to the topic. From things like post #294544, we can see that the red shiny spots don't necessarily appear on the joints: they can appear on any sufficiently convex part, or, I'd wager, on whatever place the artist wants to highlight.
Therefore, the tag's name should not concentrate on the location of the spots, but on their appearance. How about shiny_red_spots? It's not very memorable, though. shiny_pimples, maybe?

Second. Specular is the word. Or specular rash, if you want a body association.
All these names are terrible, but specular_highlight gets my vote as well. It's much better than the rest.
But specular_highlight sounds so nerdy, whereas kneeblush sounds pretty.

post #194658 is an example of rosy cheeks. So anything that's a blush but there's nothing to blush about in the context is rosy cheeks IMO.

Absolutely not. That only describes the white spot, missing the red part entirely; moreover, we're talking about a specific way of coloring bodies, while specular highlight is not specific to bodies in any way.
In other words, it's simultaneously too narrow and too broad.

Too contextual for me. You could argue she's blushing because the jelly is so good.
I think they're both the same thing, just like "wink" and "one_eye_open". Arguably though, wink->one_eye_open and blush->rosy_cheeks aliases (going from subjective-sounding action tag to observable descriptive tag) is something I could get behind.
Sorry for derailing the thread further LaC. I'm not sure what to call that body-blush thing either.

And let's not forget the omnipresent specular highlights on eyes.
So we can't use specular highlight. I suggest that we concentrate on the redness aspect, then we can add "shiny" to whatever term we come up with.
