meronpan vs melonpan

"Meronpan" is a loanword.

We don't write "sailor fuku", do we?

Well... We do, but a serafuku is not quite a sailor_uniform (in the sense that it's not what a sailor would wear--think Donald Duck), nor are all school_uniforms serafuku, so even though it's based on a loan term it's also a unique term that doesn't have a fitting equivalent in English (as far as I know).

This on the other hand does, in melon_bread, so I am also in favor of aliasing to that.
