sourcing long titles

with long titles, should be tagged as full title or shortened?

ex: Love Kiss! Anchor ~Anata no Kiss de Tsukamaete~

to "Love Kiss! Anchor" or "Anata no Kiss de Tsukamaete" ?

which is better? which is better to search for?

It would be Love Kiss! Anchor (title is らぶKiss!アンカー ~あなたのキスでつかまえて~ for the one person who will undoubtedly ask) the rest is a subtitle and would be omitted. I would cite precedent but hell if I can recall anything else with a subtitle.

e: Darker than Black I guess, even when it was a single season, Code Geass too.

We generally omit subtitles, especially long ones. Especially if there aren't any sequels or stuff like that.

For VN's its pretty much standard procedure, for Anime and Games its more fluid

Was there an existing tag before you changed it? I can alias that to the love_kiss!_anchor tag so people can use both.

This was the longer tag: love_kiss!_anchor_~anata_no_kiss_de_tsukamaete~

There was nothing under it previously, it was a tag less than 24 hours old all tagged by rabid.

I'll just leave it at love_kiss!_anchor then. I'll alias the non-! version to it as well
