Holding implications

This is one of those implications that just feel bizarre to me. How many posts do we have of jump ropes that aren't held?

More than you'd think but obviously not the majority. Some are used for bondage situations or depections of suicide, whilst the rest are mostly bundled on the ground. From a single a scroll through 200 posts, in which I wasn't paying too much attention, I counted just over 20 depictions of jump ropes not being held

I don’t know the exact number, but I’ve seen depicted jump ropes go unused, used for shibari or to restrain someone (a lot of posts), used to make a noose, and there’s even the case of jumping the rope without seeing anyone who holds it (post #4642782).

Many different cases of how to use a jump rope without holding it. Unless you’ve got a way to group all of them and make an opposite tag, I think holding jump rope makes sense. And simply "holding + jump_rope" wouldn’t work: post #8364935, post #7222565, post #6573912.

We may want to do something about holding_card also. From the wiki it seems like maybe that is intended only for playing card, but holding_card id_card has a fair number of results.

Same goes for holding_card credit_card. But neither type of card implies card, so I don’t know if they can simply go under holding card. If it’s just for playing cards, it’ll have to be gardened accordingly.

To be honest, card itself is confusing since the wiki says it includes certain cards "and any other type of card", but the implications don’t reflect that.

If all types of card implied card and were treated as such, holding card would be sufficient. But if they’re completely separate, would each need their own "holding" tag? At first glance I prefer the first option, but you never know with Danbooru purposes… maybe someone wants to see a specific type of card being held(???). ughhhhhhh at least i’m having no doubts about the tennis racket

Newbie question since it's not something I've done before; how do you create a new BUR within an existing topic? I have a holding implication I want to propose, so I want to be sure it's in this topic and not a new one.

Go up to the top of this page and click "Request alias/implications". If you click on that link from this topic rather than the forum, it will be attached.
The page you find yourself on will say:

This request will be attached to topic #23630: Holding implications.

Click "Request alias/implication" while in this thread. Like, in the page where you’re reading this. Then make the BUR and it will appear right here.

Edit: same as what CrossbowArcanePlus said.

This reminded me… I might do something related to my latest BUR but in another thread.
