About some staff and holding tags

Since shakujou has been imply to staff, it should be no problem to imply mage staff to staff.

But what about bo staff?
Is bo staff a staff? or a polearm?

Then how to tag "holding bo staff"? Holding staff, holding polearm, or only use holding. I see all these 3 ways are common and are used by many people.
Wand is also a similar thing but it already has holding wand.
So how about holding mage staff, holding bo staff, holding shakujou? Alias or Imply them to holding staff?
Most of the current staff are mage staff or shakujou, crosier, which makes staff and bo staff feel like different things.

Crosier's wiki: "Avoid tagging crosier for 'generic' looking staves that may be better off tagged staff or mage staff."
But people use holding staff for holding crosier...... this will be confusing, too.
