I missed this post. I was the one who created milkshake glass and parfait glass, as well as a bunch of other glass tags a while back when I was working on the wiki of drinking glass. The purpose was for them to be sub-types of drinking glass like other glass cups, and more importantly, to give people a tag to use. Because as mentioned above, without these tags, it's just drinking glass, people who can't find a specific tag will often end up shovelling it into one of the neighboring tags as a substitute. The dessert glasses are some of the most mistagged glasses I saw when I was gardening. Creating a dedicated tag will help prevent mistags. It's also why we made tags for so many types of alcohol glasses.
Unlike alcohol glasses, dessert glasses don't have unified names, and it's hard to find a good reference source. My intend was to have milkshake glass for glasses with an inward bowl and parfait glass for glasses with an outward bowl, as that's what commonly shows up when you search them on google images. What the cup is actually serving or fluting was not meant to matter. So the claim that they're "useless because they're any cup used to serve milkshake/parfait" is invalid. I didn't use sundae glass because it had more diverse image results.
Of course they need to have wikis to reflect that. I can't remember the exact reason but I must have gotten busy with something else and forgot to finish the work afterwards. I have updated all the wikis accordingly.
As for ice cream cup. If you look at its current state it's clear that people are using it for any type of cup with ice cream in it. When I was gardening I quickly realized that it can't be used as a viable tag for the dessert glass. Gzb's version proposed to used it for both disposable cups and sherbet glass, which is not the best solution. It was why I also created sherbet glass and pilsner glass alongside milkshake glass and parfait glass to further the distinction, which gzb missed when they were gardening. Combined with the alcohol glasses, we have now identified almost all common drinking glasses. So I proposed we turn ice cream cup into disposable ice cream cup, and imply it to disposable cup.

BUR #50577 has been approved by @evazion.
create alias ice_cream_cup -> disposable_ice_cream_cup
remove alias ice_cream_cup -> disposable_ice_cream_cup
deprecate ice_cream_cup
create implication disposable_ice_cream_cup -> disposable_cup
As above.

BUR #50662 has been approved by @evazion.
remove implication disposable_ice_cream_cup -> cup
Redundant, since disposable cup already implies cup.

BUR #51602 has been approved by @evazion.
create implication milkshake_glass -> drinking_glass
create implication parfait_glass -> drinking_glass
Trying this again now that the tags are better defined.

Drinking glass probably should have been called glass cup to avoid this issue of being used for glasses you don't really drink from, but it's kind of annoying to change now.
