Literally a nominal tag, made only for 1 particular post on the site (and links to it) and carrying no search value. Because of the distorted name and the very localized nature, it will not be useful even to many active Danbooru users, let alone random lurkers.
P.S Naturally all the other names listed on the wiki don't make sense either

Fans can use danbooru_(site) fish for 100% of the same result.

Maybe rename it to the_feeshe_(danbooru)? I wouldn't mind keeping it as tag.

Alternative, we have copytags for other works that are commonly referenced/redrawn, e.g. mona lisa.

Just give it a meme qualifier that's functionally what it is a forced meme, pet meme, in-joke, whatever it's a searchable concept spread across multiple images and artists.

If zetsubou's proposal gets accepted, the wiki will have to be updated to actually explain why it is a Danbooru meme/in-joke. Not everyone is going to intuitively think 'let me check the comments of this post', especially as the vast, vast majority of meme tags are based on something off-site, so unless you already know about the approver drama et al, its context will fly over your head.

Nameless' proposal meanwhile aligns with the current wiki, though if it gets approved, the See also section has to be removed.

-1 for the nuke. Not because I'm very biased. It certainly helps, but it is not the primary factor.

The only reason danbooru_(site) fish currently works is because they all contain a reference to Danbooru in some form within the image itself. (The brown box, screenshot of the website, and a personification)

So if, hypothetically, another Feeshe art commission was in the pipeline that didn't feature any Danbooru references, this tag would then needed to be reinstated again in some form.

danbooru_(site) fish doesn't even give you the original. Besides, it already got "parodied"/referenced by a few different posts, which would be enough justification for a tag.

If I knew that me and other approvers are going to be forever shat on like this just because of messing up and approving the wrong posts a couple times (instead of regularly approving low quality posts, in which case, fair enough) I'd have never agreed to become an approver. Screw you, honestly.

This wasn't a simple matter of accidently approving something low-quality. This would just be a run-of-the-mill deleted post if it weren't continuously approved and appealed by users that should've known better. And while the uploader supposedly doesn't want to be judged solely based on that upload, continuing to bring it up after people may have forgotten about it (comment #2531523) is not helping. This has basically become Danbooru's equivalent of Fart in a Jar Martin.

On that note, I don't really think it's worth explaining the context behind the controversy in the wiki. This is just going to draw more unnecessary attention to the uploader and make Approvers look more incompetent than they actually are. I see no value in advertising this.

Also, the See Also section just seems completely random. How are corrugated galvanized iron sheets and faucets in any way related to this?

This website's priorities are seriously messed up if approving this singular post is worse than approving a lot of posts with blatant flaws like bad anatomy, proportions or perspective, which some approvers are guilty of. The latter is what actually contributes more to bringing down standards across the board over time if you just think about it a bit, yet people clearly don't seem to consider that an issue since you don't see any memes or forum topics about that.

These are big memes on the Discord. Corrugated galvanized iron sheet is a long convoluted name for a tag, and the example post for faucet is from when Provence accidentally uploaded a stock image of a faucet.

You're not the Discord so you may not be aware of this, but people keep bringing it up even when I'm not participating in the conversation. People definitely have not forgotten it and the meme is completely out of my hands. I have no control over it.

As for the BUR itself, I don't see why it should be nuked because it is a taggable concept. And as Gabriel explained, danbooru_(site) fish won't be enough for a replacement. The only reason NerveControl made the BUR is because he doesn't like the meme. According to him on Discord he was "primarily counting on the BUR being reviewed by the admin, who was previously irritated by the situation, but it was evazion who did it".

Edit: A silver lining in this situation is that it prompted evazion to start approving BURs. So I think NerveControl should start making more threads like this.

Please refrain from speculative and overtly hostile statements. They carry no argumentative basis other than “well I think he thinks so...”, then what's the point of writing it in a discussion of BUR itself on the forum if you can share your thoughts in Discord instead?
