Grandia Online/Japanica art needs to be deleted

Posted under General

I noticed that on one of the pictures that i'd uploaded that another member mentioned that Japanica is a banned artist. I've uploaded a fair amount of their art for Grandia Online but I didn't know who the artist was so I didn't realize i was doing something wrong. Kind of annoying that i'll have so many deleted pictures now. Even though it's official art it probably still needs to be deleted right?

I was wondering though if it would be a good idea to have a sticky thread with a list of banned artists for quick reference? I'm sorry for the mistake and thank you in advance for sorting it out.

It's his art for sure. I did a search with 'グランディア オンライン' and 'Japanica' on google images and it comes up with images from Grandia Online from his site. And i just realized I made out all the art for Grandia online was Japanica's from my first post when actually there is one post that's from a different artist, that's post #637850.

Alright then I'll take care of it, it's going to take a little bit because tag editing and by proxy scripts are broken and I'd prefer posts that are deleted for being an artist's works be tagged with that artist.

If anyone has proof after the fact that any of these weren't japonica feel free to post their IDs and I'll undelete them.

I know this is quite late to the discussion but...given that these are official artwork, should Japonica being on the banned artist list even matter? For official art the artist doesn't own the copyright. The company does.

I was wondering about that too, in forum #62834. Seems the status quo is that they are still deleted regardless.
