Turning marvel & dc_comics into umbrella tags

Posted under Tags

I have a question if the Marvel token get characters get much more art and people start looking for those versions do we need separate tags for them as well or you know since they do have some differences from The Originals most of them I'm asking but if not then I understand

And I just realized that we also have in Injustice gods among Us tags but we only have a few for them there's not much artwork of them on here and I don't know how many of them have actual tags and none of them are tied together with each other for their counterparts

Let me get this clear, you're asking if we'll need character tags for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls? You should just be able to search wolverine_(x-men) marvel_tokon:_fighting_souls or similar to find art of the character in Tokon. We typically don't make copyright-specific (or alternatively, default design) character tags unless necessary, and currently tagging practice on both the comic book and the fighting game end don't encourage this, so there's no reason to think a wolverine_(marvel_tokon:_fighting_souls) or similar tag will be necessary at all.

I also don't understand why you're asking this.

There is a better version of what I was saying

I have a question: since Marvel Token is a fighting game officially made by Arc System Works and Marvel, if the characters from the game start to get more artwork and people begin searching for those versions, should we create separate tags for them? Or, since they do have some differences from the original characters, should we still use the original tags? I'm mainly asking out of curiosity, but I understand if not.

Additionally, I just realized that we have tags for Injustice: Gods Among Us, but there are only a few artworks of them here. I don’t know how many of them have actual tags, and none of the tags are linked to their counterparts. Should we consider adding or connecting those tags?
