Nicknames or full names?

Shouldn't the main tag be the full name of the characters?

I've noticed the tags yocchi and charu, which are nicknames for Yoshioka Chie and Yamada Micharu respectively, from ToHeart 2.

So I suppose I should submit an alias request. Does that automatically change the existing tags or do I need to do that first?

An alias request will fix that upon approval. No need to change them manually.

I noticed these exact two as well, when I upped one of... one of the two, maybe both a little ways back. I upped with her full names and got nothing, then I realized they were under the nicknames. Not being familiar with either, I didn't catch it at first.
