Hmm, actually, I've seen some implications going to the parent tag before. Did we decide to imply all of the gfl2 subtags to the base model from gfl1? I didn't realize or forgot about this, I might have to turn the bot off for gfl2 and revert some of the implications we've approved from it.

Now, normally, I leave my ranting and raving in the GFL chartag thread, but this is specifically a skin problem, so here it goes. We've gotten a combination of phenomena now incoming.

The first phenomena is their inexplicable decision to rename skins from GFL1 to new names in GFL2, quoted above. The second phenomena is their inexplicable decision to bring skins from GFL1 forward, but making it so that the original design is now demoted to a subvariant of a modular skin: Nikketa's Night on the Silver Bay, Robella's Enforcer of the Law, and Liushih's Beauty in the East are examples of this.

Today, the next doll on CN was announced, G41, or Faelynn. Alongside this announcement came her first skin for the game, modular, of course, and one of the variants presented is just her skin Beach Punk 2064, just absent the head bow.

The closest similar situation to this we've had previously was Vector's Vivi Sometimes Hides Her Molotovs, whose variants reference her default in GFL1 and her Kitty Paws skin from the same game, but the core aspect of the GFL2 skin still prevailed.

So I have no idea what we'd do here. The precedent set by Suomi and Qiuhua doesn't feel right here because in those cases the base design remained the same. Do we just do something akin to Jiangyu (Raindrop Cleaving Blades) (Girls' Frontline 2), make a tag for it separate from Beach Punk 2064 and decide what to do with the awkward bits for it later?
