I'm gonna drop a potentially hot take here in light of the story developments with regards to Himeko.
IMHO this utility alias should be a thing since not only is her surname (the same as her Honkai Impact counterpart) revealed in 4.1, her full name is explicitly given for the first time in the Version 4.3 Special Program (28:25 mark).
Doing this will interfere with autocomplete: Murata Himeko has 1.3K posts, Himeko (Honkai: Star Rail) has 1.7K. I don't think it makes sense to do utility aliases like this for the sake of it. I guess there's the potential of it becoming a missed search when people search Murata Himeko expecting to find Honkai: Star Rail posts instead. Granted though, the kinds of people doing that are not the kinds of people who are searching for the character this way on Danbooru.
The current status quo for Honkai (Series) is that Honkai Impact 3rd characters are allowed to be unqualified if their full name is known because it's surfaced in most materials, most characters are not qualified and are not ambiguous either. This hasn't been tested for Honkai: Star Rail where the majority of characters are qualified. Though I guess the fact that the two games share characters was bound to eventually run into this problem with some making a BUR for canon reasons.
Something to consider is how useful this actually is. Himeko (Honkai: Star Rail)'s last name was surfaced in a single stream, it's not something that's repeated enough that people instinctively know it. It would also be confusing in general, having a "Murata Himeko" without a qualifier and then one with a qualifier.
