I feel dividing "use of icon as print" from other instances of an icon is best done where the icon can/does represent a physical object. See Poke Ball and Poke Ball print; distinction helps split "items with Poke Ball print" from images with the actual Pokemon-catching tool. The Japari symbol does not represent a physical object, thus is rarely depicted as one, so I don't feel splitting Japari symbol and Japari symbol print provides the same benefit as the Poke Ball example.
Comparable concepts to the Japari symbol, such as the Superman logo, Rhodes Island logo (Arknights), or Straw Hats Jolly Roger—wherein the symbol used is near-exclusively depicted as print on clothes, as background elements, as media assets, etc.—do not have such divisions, since having a case-specific tag for something that makes up much of the general tag would be redundant. I feel this is one of those cases.
