Upload Feedback Thread - post here if your uploads keep getting deleted

Posted under General

Hello, I’d like to know why some of my recent posts keep getting deleted or getting rejected when I try to appeal them. I’ve been uploading content for cslucaris, but they keep getting deleted and I don’t know why. I even recently uploaded this image [post #11193179], but it got rejected for a reason that doesn’t make sense to me. These are all the other posts that got rejected for some reason:

Approvers cannot reapprove posts they've previously approved (except admins; they can reapprove posts an infinite number of times and its mainly used to combat flag abuse). Same goes with flags and appeals; you get one per post. So yes, a post can obviously still be flagged again even after it's been reapproved multiple times before. This might be a good sign that your post isn't good quality to the average person or doesn't belong on the site if it's getting flagged that much.

Noticeably bad foreshortening in the focal point of an image is an issue to most people, which this post has. An artist can still have an off day which is why the "comparable to other posts by this artist" argument generally falls flat.

It seems that most posts tagged with toon_(style) are being ignored.
Looking at approved uploads, most of these uploaders are users with automatic approval.
Why is this?
It's not so much about low quality, but rather that it's an art style.
Is this no longer what danbooru is looking for?
Aside from filing a complaint, I'm simply curious and would like to gather a wide range of opinions.

Not sure what you mean by "no longer", Danbooru has always been a primarily anime-oriented site. Even if we're more lenient on non-anime content these days, it still has to look good to be approved. Things like post #11369410 and post #11369464 aren't really up to standards.
