Deprecate dark_halo

Both of these halos are purple, but one looks "demonic" due to its dark color.

Dark hair or skirts don't suggest much about "morality," "demonicity," or a general "inner darkness." Halos are associated with saints or angels, traditionally "holy," "good," and "bright" beings.

The traditional halo is, of course, also light—yellow or white. It's not hard to imagine that an "evil" creature would have a dark one, perhaps black, perhaps purple, perhaps even red, but it's not a single color.

Why not alias with black_halo

Because you also have posts like post #9768657. It's best to deprecate a tag like this and move each post individually to the proper color once the deprecation gets approved. It's also a good example of why tags like this don't work. Concepts like dark and light are subjective and their definitions vary from user to user or situation to situation. We got rid of tags like light_blue_hair for similar reasons.

I think it's a concept opposite to glowing halo, describing the "non-luminous" brightness attribute, which is different from color aspect. It's a common concept in corruption or dark persona themes.

Taking this image as an example, both are actually blue halo(although the tone differ slightly), but Shiroko (Blue Archive) have a glowing halo, while Shiroko Terror (Blue Archive) have a dark halo.

Also this Mari (Blue Archive) should be a yellow halo but dark (compare to her original halo).

That being said, I agree that this tag is currently being misused quite severely(especially with those simple black halos and solid halos). But I feel we just need to clean it up (or give it a less misleading name), not deprecate it.

I tend to agree, this tag is for dark/darkening/evil-looking halos, which are traditionally associated with angels (or they were, until Blue Archive). We don't have a way to search for those in general if we just nuke this tag, though maybe it could get a better name.

I'm not against a tag for this, but dark_halo is not that tag. With such a generic name, it's (understandably) full of random black/grey halos. Deprecating dark_halo and making a new, better-named tag for that specific case is the best path forward.
