Upload Feedback Thread - post here if your uploads keep getting deleted

Posted under General

Hello, I was wondering why post #11394823 (G) wasn't approved?

The only thing I can think of is that the hands might look a bit off (and a little too big in the guy's case) but I don't think it's to the point of being distracting or ruining the entire illustration, is it? Or is there something else I'm missing? I unfortunately don't have a very good eye for these things, so I apologize if it should be obvious lol

Anyway, I'd really appreciate some feedback before I decide whether or not to make an appeal, and so I'll have a slightly better understanding of Danbooru's quality standards and also know what to look out for with future uploads. I made my account a few years back, but I didn't actually start using it until about a month ago, so I'm still fairly new to all this.

Thanks! ^^

Edit: Well, that was quick! It's been undeleted now.
Thank you so much to Placeholder1996 for appealing and to Massonia for approving! :>

Hello. I would like to ask for a proper explanation regarding the repeated rejection of multiple high-quality Date A Live uploads.

I understand that approval standards can vary depending on moderator opinion, but the inconsistency here is becoming difficult to understand.

For example, yesterday you approved post #11405108 (artist: otozato_yomi) almost immediately. However, my uploads from the exact same artist, with comparable quality and presentation, were all rejected previously:

At this point it is very hard to accept “does not meet quality standards” as the explanation, especially when the approved work clearly belongs to the same quality level and style consistency as the rejected ones.

I would seriously appreciate if these posts could be reviewed again.

Additionally, I would also like clarification regarding the rejection of the following uploads from other Date A Live artists:

Many of these works were well-drawn, high-resolution, properly sourced, and fit the type of content that is regularly accepted on the site.

I am not trying to start drama - I genuinely want to understand what standard is currently being applied here, because from the outside the moderation decisions appear extremely inconsistent.

Please reconsider these uploads or at least explain specifically what problems prevented approval.
