Yes, it's my scan. I've been scanning with a high-grade scanner for many years and have a huge backlog I've been trying to upload here. Also, yes, I cleaned the scan. I prefer to clean my black and white scans this way.
I wasn't aware I need to be doing anything special with the scans I've made. If you'd like, I can offer some proof that these are my own scans. I've had a couple of people question if I'm actually posting my own scans because scanners don't seem to upload their own work here very often (or at least tag it as such). I think that might be why some of my scans have not been approved.
Also, I'd like to know why this post was deleted when this art from the same set got approved:

I'm not an Approver so I can't actually approve your post, but the first thing you should do is update the source field with the title of the book/magazine/whatever you scanned the image from.

I had no idea, thanks for the info.
I was wondering if I could get feedback on this one. Sometimes it feels random what does and doesn't get approved, as I have had previous comms from this artist approved.

Disapprovals are pruned after a month, and that post was deleted two months ago.
Any particular reason why this didn't go through? Don't really what is wrong with this, looks okay to me
