@Remembrance_of_the_Heart For Honkai Impact 3rd, we try to implicate costumes directly to the base character tag now.
In the past, only Part 2 characters did this but I gradually transitioned most Part 1 characters to also have costumes imply the base character tag instead of the version the costume belongs to. The reason for this is that most characters keep the same basic look through all versions and costumes and they have nothing that really uniquely separates them besides their actual outfit. Check the earlier replies in this topic for some efforts and discussions towards that.
The only exception remains for about 5 characters because I'm still working out an appropriate restructure of their hierarchy that makes it a bit less confusing especially to people who don't know Honkai Impact 3rd well - off the top of my head that should be Kiana Kaslana, Raiden Mei, Bronya Zaychik, Elysia (Honkai Impact) and Theresa Apocalypse (who has Luna (Honkai Impact) separated out except for Theresa Apocalypse (Luna Kindred)). There may be some other loose stragglers as well.
