As for Sylvia turning to Octavia, she (with the sprite) was referred as Sylvia in Part 2 Prelude, but that's the only instance of the name Sylvia ever appeared in the game, and any other time (including the Final Part) she's referred as Octavia. (Though her first sprite and her latest sprite are a bit different)
