Tragedy of a Long Life Conversion

Now that you mention it, I realize this tag doesn't exist yet, even though it's a pretty common theme in fanart. On Pixiv, it usually goes by '寿命论' or '寿命差' (lifespan theory / lifespan difference).

However, if we are to make a new tag align with that tag, the name might need some adjustment, because not all works of this kind depict tragedy, some are comedic or quirky.

If we're still considering alternative names, the trope name is "Mayfly–December romance/friendship".

And today I found out another new phrase in English - "May-December romance," referring to age gap romance.

Clearly what this tag needs is just consistency with similar tags on the site.
Let's rename it inconvenient lifespan.

That would expand the coverage of the gag to include short-lived characters as well. I would go with that, though saying its an "inconvenience" may be a big understatement, and maybe we could use separate long life and short life gap tags.
