This pool is meant to cover the relatively objective concept of characters giving others "the talk", or explaining how sex works...Which we already have a tag for, sex ed.

The problem here is that this pool aims to cover two related but still distinct concepts, the other being someone going "where do babies come from?", which is a scenario I imagine people would want to search for on its own. I'm starting this with a basic conversion, but I think it might be best to split this pool into the two concepts: one goes in sex ed, the other goes into whatever tag we end up with for people wondering where babies come from.

I don't think the pool should be converted as is because there's varying concepts, I think 3.

I asked on the discord for some names for the misunderstanding part but we were ironically kinda clueless. sex_stupidity, sex_uneducated, innocent_ignorance and sexual_innocence were what we spitballed.

Yeah I agree personally. If I vote on my own BURs, I'd actually meh this one because it doesn't neatly convert, which is a huge problem.

My suggestion for the first one is where do babies come from?, which is a bit of a mouthful but I think works the best for its intentions.

As for situation three...I like sexual innocence, but I'm not sure how I feel about have "sex" in the name of a more comedic and not typically sexual tag like this, as it could send the wrong impression of what it's even for. Though considering the first example alludes to the act of sex in all but name, I suppose it could be fine?

I guess alternatively, it could be called something like pregnancy misunderstanding, going by these examples, but I'd need to look at some of these posts before actually suggesting the name and making sure it'd work.

Okay so I have favgroup #56447, favgroup #56525 and favgroup #56527 for Kissing/whatever = pregnant, asking what [insert sexual act] is or how it works, and sex ed respectively.

I also have favgroup #56523 for generally not knowing how sex works but it's pretty messy. Anything not in these 4 favgroups I have no idea what to do with (mostly things that aren't translated).

That's great, that means we have safe conversions to work with for these concepts while we brainstorm tag names. Thanks a lot!

Alas, I am not putting in a massive translation request just to sort out the remainder. Might not be a bad idea to have a favgroup for those on-hand to sort were we to nuke the pool. I can read a little Japanese at least, so I guess I could look at the missing ones and see if I can determine anything.

favgroup #56523 could be sexually naive or sexual naivety.

Pregnancy misunderstanding and sexual misunderstanding aren't specific enough. They'd get mistagged because the name isn't clear that this is supposed to be ignorance what pregnancy/sex is, not a misunderstanding about a specific pregnancy/sexual situation.

Went through all the posts tagged translation request and did my best to piece together what I think the correct favgroup is. Keep in mind that there's a reason I don't translate much, so anyone with more understanding than me should feel free to correct me on anything.

Dunno what to do with the rest of the remainder. Guess we should focus on splitting the pool into its respective tags and deal with the remainder later, especially since we got a favgroup for them now.

Yeah if a translator translated it like that, I'd assume it'd belong in that favgroup lol. No problem!

I take it we're safe to BUR these now that we got the most notable gray zones out of the way. The names could still use work tho, but getting the pool converted into tags is the highest priority right now.
