The effectiveness varies from person to person...These are generally called episodic memories or "recollections," so while they may remember people's names, they won't remember anything about their personalities or the contents of their conversations. On the other hand, we didn't observe any problems with functions other than those memories. Reading, writing, arithmetic, schoolwork, driving a car or riding a bike, using a cell phone, et cetera. Most of the memories we'd call "knowledge" or "common sense" remained intact. You say it all disappears... How much, specifically? How will it affect daily life?Strictly speaking, it is believed the memory data is still in the brain. It is more accurate to say the existing data can no longer be accessed. Some people forgot everything about themselves, while others were at least able to remember their family name...What everyone had in common was that they lost memories of their relationships with family and friends, events, life in their hometown, past actions, favorite people and things, and so on...Furthermore, memories associated with strong emotions tended to be easier to wipe out. That's why it's able to erase trauma. They couldn't remember where or from whom they learned it from, and the subjects were confused about their situation at first, but since their learning abilities were normal, they were gradually able to adapt to their "new life."......To describe it as if were a video game,it's like only inheriting your level and skills while becoming a completely different character.
