HAHA! Who said that they're married? 😏
I have a soft spot for unmarried & divorced couples who are still intimate but choose to remain separated. They're perfectly content with each other that they don't need a set of trinkets or the law to validate it, and think that's one of the most beautiful things in the world. (I'm an Aspec, I know.)

Plus, I think they've already gone through that spiritually, lmao. I've seen clips of their interactions in the 3D fighter, and they give off such an "awkward encounter with your ex" energy, like it's actually mad. (I love how reuniting with his Jojo seems to give DIO an extra boost of energy, or at least that's how I interpreted it.)

However, if Jonathan were to propose DIO, I think it'd look like this:

Human Dio would decline at first, but ultimately be on board & plan the most extravagant wedding (he's a bridezilla); Vampire DIO wouldn't see the point of the marriage, therefore stays unwed (he might keep the ring though. Why not take it, it's free).

That said, he might accommodate Jona's wish, he does respect his other half after all— and since now that they're no longer one with each other in a physical sense, it might be a nice alternative way to become one again, this time though metaphorically that is.
