The alliance between the Elite Four and the Nudist Beach defeinitely got me excited. What was unusual about this episode was that it had a saddening feel to the story. The scene where Sanageyama's underling sacrificed their life for the greater cause really got me. We also got to see a glimpse of Ryuko's child hood again. My impression of Isshin at first was a pretty strict one, but this episode made me realize how kind he was. Stuffed animals for your daughter? That's just adorable.
