Gracious, but I never thought I'd have this kind of experience in the big city.

It looks like it falls quite a bit if you go all the way to Okutama, but this was the first time I'd experienced it piling up this much since I'd moved into the neighborhood.

Just making a path from the front door to the road wore me out, so karaoke was out of the question. And I couldn't even get to the shop to eat ramen... (^^;)

Snow will not stop me from my Ramen and Karaoke!

I admire your spirit, Kogasa-author. (though I have doubt with your motive).

Reader-added tags include "Hang in there shoveling snow, Kogasa-san", "It's all the snow's fault", and "Too bad: there's enough".

The survey snows what to do:

What should I do at times like this?
    • Shovel the snow
    • Get ramen at any cost
    • Make something at home
    • Endure hunger in your room
    • Sleep

I can totally believe the author went through a window and shoveled snow just to get at food and fun. I'm certain he's not exaggerating.

For the poll, none of the above.

Grab a bunch of burnable shit and melt and/or vaporise the fucking snow.

I just want to ask this while I have it on the brain

How is one supposed to pronounce Sanae? I know she isn't here but it's been bothering me since I first read her name

We need to teach Kogasauthor how to pack for a trip. Always bring light snacks, drinks, medicine, and toilet paper when traveling. You never know when you might need them.

Congratulations. Your front walk is now covered in a thin layer of ice. Have fun falling down.

In that order. Nothing makes a meal tastier than some nice, hard work, especially when the food is prepared and cooked by your own hands.

Japanese vowels are pronounced the same way almost all the time:
    A as in "father"
    E as in "wet"
    I as in "machine"
    O as in "tone"
U as halfway between the "oo" sounds in "book" and "soon".

So "Sanae" would be roughly "Sa-na-eh".

Still snowing here in Canada despite it being the middle of March. When was this storm again? I remember there was some commotion about it a while back?

For the poll, make something at home; there's no delivery ramen here and I'm hungry.

What Moonspeaker said. Also, there are sound files in the character pages (just above the portrait picture) on the Touhou wiki with the names as spoken by a native Japanese speaker. Those are handy for getting the right pronunciation.

If it helps with the pronounciation, a popular pun in the translation of the series is "Sanaelation", from "Sanae" + "annihilation". (B'lieve we have Moonspeaker to thank for that one...)
