It made me think of that first scene in Back to the Future. In the movie's case, howevwer, all the clocks in Doc's lab were exactly 25 minutes early, rather than a full hour.

That last excuse sounds like a reverse-Made In Heaven to me. The JoJo pose just reinforces the image for me.
