Strangely enough this works. Reimu's job is to keep balance in Gensokyo with her mystical powers passed down through a mystical bloodline while Korra's job is to also keep the balance in the (I guess Avatar version of Earth) world with her mystical powers passed down through a mystical bond.

Never thought, i would see an Touhou X Avatar crossover. I wonder if the Avater series is popular in Japan?

The current one more so than the previous one, since the potray of firebenders in the last airbender hit a little too close to home.

Yeah, the Fire Nation was based off of Japan. The Earth Kingdom was based off of China,and Korea, The Water Tribe is based off of Inuits, and Air Nomads were based off of Buhddist Monks. There's a lot of all-encomapansing elements of asian cultures. I just hope there will be more shows like Avatar in america in the future, becasue animation networks know that there is a market for these types of shows.
