I'm not certain, but I think the ship is one of the two ships also called Inazuma built post-war, either the Ikazuchi-class destroyer escort or the Murasame-class destroyer.
The painting also indicates the ship in question is used as a target ship. The implication of Inazuma bowing to the ship she is about to sink aa practice or other reasons is quite beautiful.
