Seriously, translating handwriting must be a nightmare.

I'm more impressed at how the artist was able to write it. Writing Japanese, especially Kanji, is hard as hell. Unless, this is a scan and the artist just digitally colored the comic and everything.

But still.

Not really. The artist's handwriting is really neat and easy to read.

I am assuming u live in the west side of the earth.
Is not that hard, believe me. Chinese educated person pretty much learn them at kindergarten, not yet that complicated, but words like 人，水. and of course, all the number in chinese, 一 二 三 四 and so on. interestingly, there is name for parts of word. like 氵is call san dian shui. So think it as alphabet in a square.
When u are a kid, u suck in all like a sponge. Like how a left-hander can use a left hand to write, while a righthander can't. It become a second nature.

I meant on paper and such. But yeah, you're right. My handwriting, even with english, when there isn't any lines are pretty bad, with lines still.
I've forgotten that calligraphy is a pretty important part of eastern culture, compare to the west where we don't really focus that much on writing neatly. Or at least, don't care too much.
