I have the feeling that will be exactly the plan: make Akagi jealous.

Shoukaku is just encouraging weird ideas on Kaga (Very compatible tough)

I think the 2nd dialogue must be "Then we (Kaga and Akagi) will become lover" instead of "You and I (Shoukaku and Kaga)"

I find this notion that somehow (horribly bungled slapdash carrier) Kaga is a more fit aircraft carrier than some sort of "slacker" (best carriers the Japanese ever built) Shoukaku/Zuikaku to always be a pretty ridiculous assertion.

Akagi is impossible, since the point of this whole thing is that she's too oblivious to love to recognize it.

Zuikaku might happen, but that might tip the author's hand a little early, as the author still seems to want to keep Zui-Shou as merely being hinted at.

I just had a thought if Akagi want to end the war and sees Shou training under Kaga to improve herself will Akagi end up falling for Shou's determination?

Don't forget the part where the sum total of her war time accomplishments was bombing ships immobile in a port, running into a reef, then bursting into flames and dying a horrible screaming death the instant she end up in a battle against her peers. (Though not quite as as embarrassingly as "Glass Jaw Akagi")
