A bit late but:

If anything it will give them more work. Day of the dead is the day when the deceased came to visit their loved ones, after that, they return to their 'world' so I picture it like a ton of work to do.

Passports need to be stamped, one-day visas need to be approved, bags need to be checked, then you have to do it all over again at the end of the day.
