    Today begins the story of Friends of BunBunMaru News Society #130.

    ...or so I say, but I get the feeling it won't run on that long. Still, I'd like you to stay with me for it.

    By the way, rest assured that in reality, there wasn't a whiff of criminal activity involved. "Hang in There, Kogasa-san" is fiction based on nonfiction. Just to make sure. :-)

    Today, it's been decided that I'll be taking part in Touhou Kōshū Festival in Yamanashi for some reason, even though I had absolutely no plans to do so up until right before now. I was astounded it was possible to join in on the day of the event with just a single phone call. :-) With that in mind, I'll be bringing back issues, so I look forward to meeting all the attendees! Kōshū is the name of the city in Yamanashi Prefecture where the con is being held.

    It certainly didn't hurt, though I am curious about the changes you made to my commentary translation. Among other things, you removed a link to the web site of the convention he attended and a translation note explaining its name, and altered the name of the convention mentioned in the strip so that the two don't match any more. Restoring them isn't a problem, of course, but rather than appear to get into an edit fracas, I'd rather find out first if I got anything wrong.
