    Puchi-Colle! Puchi 841

    My apologies for taking a week to post this time. Puchi-Colle's a very light, fun story, so I didn't think it was right to report unfavorable current conditions here much, but those may affect Puchi-Colle from here on, so I'm going to report them.

    I'm very emotionally unstable now, so I suppose I could say that when I'm good, I'm even better than before, but when I'm bad, I'm even worse than before. I'd stayed alone for so long up to now, that by changing to an environment of going out excessively frequently, my condition's getting both better and worse. Frankly, I still can't see the light at this point, so I'm just calming my mind as best as I can. Even so, I don't want to end Puchi-Colle, I want to keep drawing, to keep having everyone see it, and to keep receiving and enjoying your comments. It's possible that from here on, updates will frequently stop for about the same length of time. It may be that updates will stop for even longer periods from here on. Never the less, I will definitely try to update Puchi-Colle, so I hope I can have you enjoy it in the long run.

    Why does this Admiral even have doors to begin with? Or walls for that matter?

    She should just have columns supporting the ceiling in her office area and leave the rest open to the general public. Then maybe she'd spend less resources repairing broken walls.

    He's been depressed and hikikomori for years. Only how is he starting to go outside and interact with others again. Looks like that isn't going as smoothly as hoped.

    I wonder if the artist know about danbooru and every comment that concerned about him here :/

    As the creator of puchicolle he can retake this series anytime, the topic as the commentary and Jarlath says, is his adaptation to the new lifestyle, so, the things will not go so smoothly like he thought, and thats important, because IS and really is difficult to keep drawing and working. Especially with his change of mind.

    Things will go well if he adapts to the new rythm, but that can be really hard.

    Seriously, though, it seems that the author is trying to work his way out of seclusion, and the only way to learn how to cope with social interaction is to practice. It's just that that approach means that sometimes he gets overloaded and ends up needing to spend some time in seclusion to recover.

    And what that means for Puchicolle is that the update schedule will become erratic - he'll go on drawing it when he can, but every so often, he'll stop drawing it for a while if he's had an episode.

    (I must say that, even more than his making an effort to overcome his mental issues, I'm even more impressed by his willingness to go public with his problems, especially in Japan where I hear there's a lot of stigma around disabilities. I hope he's got enough devoted fans on pixiv to support him if some troll decides to start poking at him.)

    I wonder if the guy knows about Patreon.

    But regardless, if you like this guy's work, I'd say go ahead and give some encouragement on his Pixiv. Japan is infamous about having stigmas about this sort of thing, and he could use all the encouragement he could get. I wonder if he knows about his English fanbase... for someone who's struggling with this sort of thing, a few words of encouragement could go a long way.
