Oh god I know that feeling. When a customer pays for over twenty dollars in stuff, but only has a couple of one or two dollar coins. Especially when its at an express counter or when theres five people lined up after them. Ind fact, I'm pretty sure thats the only time it happens.

One yen coins are more like pennies. So it's worse.

I was kinda assuming it was one of those places using dollars that aren't of the US variety.

US dollar coins are pretty uncommon. You only ever seem to get them from vending machines as change.

I think they're fun to use since they're gold and shiny, plus you feel like an old timey rich guy when ya use them.
