True, but at least the weather's OK for her.

There's a lot of poverty around. Millions of Americans live in cars, mobile homes and tents on the street ( although the wealthy are taking steps to outlaw living in cars or in tents ); and obviously many third world countries have it much worse.

Even $70k tech workers are taking to vans in the San Francisco Bay area where studio apartments are $2600.

On the train I can see tents pitched around freeways.

Oddly I'm told Tokyo doesn't have this problem. Then are allowed to to tear down a house for a 5 unit apartment keeping the housing prices down.

Living out the back of a Chevrolet Express (or GMC Savanah, they're the same thing). Can be done, Just get a small generator and a long extension cord and you have power. Might help to get an extended chassis.

I would have expected a Toyota HiAce considering this a Japanese artist, but I guess they have a weird obsession with USDM SUV's, vans, and trucks such as we have a weird obsession with JDM Kei cars.

Yea, both the Express and Savana are identical except for the front grill. I added the Chevrolet tag since it has at least a page on danbooru while GMC is blank.
