You know, I've been wondering... Mr. Salaryman is Ai-chan's boyfriend in this comic, right? I mean, that's the impression I'm getting from all the photos she sends him, as well as her not only staying at his apartment after getting caught in a downpour and not minding him staring at her all drenched, but later the reveal that they're having sex (which her little sister accidentally learned of via accidental phone call).
So... how do you think they'll translate that to the anime? Or they going to retcon that away, and just keep them as "really close friends"?

Funny - the second one is the latest episode. I suspect that the show will take the subtle route of never stating it directly.

I get the impression, having read through the doujin and latest images, that the timeline is a bit of a retcon, and the current Ai and Train-sempai haven't gotten together yet. All the sex-related stuff was in earlier images, and anything current can be passed off as him daydreaming. They act like a typical anime I like him/Her but haven't confessed yet sort of couple.
