Actually, the Meta tag fits better than the Redundancy pool. The former is for characters interacting with their source media (eg characters from a video game playing that game, or characters from an anime watching that anime), while the latter is for pictures whose subject is essentially a matryoshka of itself (oni wearing an oni mask, or a dakimakura of a dakimakura).
