Does "Conscientiousness" really meant the same as "Becoming conscious (of one's action / feeling)"? I looked it up and the best I can find is it's either related to conscience or being meticulous with your job, both of which isn't what 意識 is implying in this case.
I thought of going with Consciousness, but that sounds more misleading that becoming conscious when taken out of context.

A simpler way to translate 意識 would be "awareness" or the like, but that doesn't entirely convey the meaning Ha Akabouzu intends in these strips, which is more along the lines of "she's becoming overly conscientious of her relationship because of that pseudo-kiss", but (as Ha Akabouzu titles that are continued into over half a dozen strips tend to do), also has a meaning that keeps changing to other things she's conscientious about, such as the closeness (both emotional and physical) the Admiral has to her. That's why I kept it to a relatively vague term like "conscientiousness", which is simply a reference to her troubled state of mind.
So far as what shows up in a Google search goes, "Conscientious" is also used as a personality metric in the Big Five personality test, which skews a lot of those results. It's not being used in the strictly dictionary definition of the term in places like Wikipedia.
