As awesome as Aokiji may be, by following the ntarural Logia-mechanism, then Ace would be considered Aokiji's weakness, and would beat him instantly.

Fire melts Ice, if his Ice changes into a diferent state (water) his Logia power is disabled. (Same thing that happened to both Crocodile and Enel)

Crocodile didn't change phases. Wet sand is still sand. Neither did Enel. He just got hit really hard by something that insulates.

I guess he ment that Crocodile and Enel got their Logia powers disabled, not that they changed states
