    I'm of the type that uses 2 to make a sandwich. Squish them together and eat it, that's what the taste brings to mind.
    It can't be helped that now all that feels like a regrettable waste...

    I presume that's what inspired this strip: The artist feels this way, and has the characters express it. (Sort of like how Churuya-chan was made because the artist had just tasted some smoked cheese, and really liked it...)
