    Congratulations to the German team for snatching victory from the jaws of defeat!

    In today's match the German national team managed to finish off Sweden at the last moment, despite facing crisis after crisis. Kroos made up for his previous blunder, and Löw even slipped a rare smile.

    Thank you to all the German football fans out there, and thank you to all the artists who supported the German team on this 'site. Germany, do your best next match!

    (I'm just joking, in case the author sees this.)

    Edit: Added to Harsher in Hindsight because Germany went and lost their next match (precisely the same match the artist was wishing them luck on), resulting in their elimination.

    Edit2: I'm an idiot, writing ß as "SS" when all-caps are used was standard practice back then. Capital ß (ẞ) is a relatively new convention.
