    The Japanese trend is to just slap "Princess" in front of any name (including names that already have titles, like "King Boo"), which is better than just slapping "-ette" on the end, since "-ette" will refer to any feminization of a character. (There already exists "Goombette" as the generic name for female goombas, for example.) "Princess" isn't strictly specific to Peach, but at least narrows it down quite a bit, since I have zero doubt there's going to be a lot more varieties of gender-bending Mario characters coming out sooner or later.

    Also, as an aside, in Paper Mario, Goombario's sister was named Goombaria, which implicates that the English way of feminizing Mario is into Maria.
